- Complete Fishing Licence - Fishing permitted
in the 2nd category with 4 lines and in 1st category with 1 line
on river and 2 lines on stretches of water. [Price
2003: 55.50 € (364.06 F)].
- Licence with Reduced Taxes 1 - Fishing permitted
only in the 2nd category with 4 lines (except fly, carafe, rod-and-reel
fishing, bait, shrimp net). [Price
2003: 43 € (282.06 F)].
- Licence with Reduced Taxes 2 - This is an additional
supplement to the Licence with Reduced Taxes 1 which enables the
same fishing permissions as the Complete Fishing Licence. [Price
2003: 12.50 € (81.99 F)].
- Young Persons Licence - Fishing with the same
permissions as the Complete Fishing Licence for persons under
16 years old. [Price
2003: 24 € (157.43 F)].
- Holidays Licence - Fishing permitted with the
same conditions as the Complete Fishing Licence between the 1st
of June and the 30th of September included throughout 15 consecutive
days starting from the delivery date. [Price
2003: 30 € (196.79 F)].
- Daily Licence - Fishing permitted for one day
but it is only granted by a member of the A.A.P.P.M. (Certified
Fishing Association). [Price

- Halieutic Club Tax - This allows owners of
the Complete Fishing Licence, member of the Halieutic Club, to
fish in other departements who share this agreement.

- Second Category Stretches of Water and Dams -
When pike fishing is not permitted (27January to 9 May) fishing
with bai (dead, alive or artificial), with spoon and other lures
(excluding an artificial fly) is not permitted except in the Chézelles
Hydroelectric Reservoir.
- Second Category Rivers - When pike fishing
is not permitted 27January to 9 May) fishing with bai (dead, alive
or artificial), with spoon and other lures (excluding an artificial
fly) is authorised for brown trout, between 8 March to 9 May.
- First Category Maggot Fishing - This is forbidden
in the rivers.
- Navigation - On the Age, the Chézelles
and Champsanglard Dams, boats propelled by electric motors are
authorised. Fishing with a seine is not permitted as well as using
an echo sounder on a boat.
- Night Fishing - Carp fishing at night is authorised
in the Champsanglard Dam but only by reservation which can be
made at the Departmental Fishing Federation who can inform you
of methods to be used (00 33 (0)5 55 52 24 70).
- First Category - Fishing is permitted from
March to September. This category shelters a chief characteristic
salmon species including some beautiful specimens of brown trouts
(autochton stocks ), in particular in the sparkling rivers of
the departement. The grayling is also present, but only in some
rivers (legal size: 30cm). In the First Category, fishing is permitted
only with one fishing rod, except in the reservoirs where an exemption
applies and allows fishing with two rods.
- Second Category - Fishing is is permitted all
year round except the when specified for certain species (see
table above). These waters shelter a chief characteristic "cyprinidés"
species. Maximum number of fishing rods permitted is four.
