The local area has much for the horse riding enthusiast and there is the added attraction of two horse fares that are held annually locally at Chénérailles.

The Chabrières woods located at the gates of the town of Gueret. Visit "Pierre de la Tribune", "Pierre du Loup", "Pierre Chabranle" and the Wolf Park in Chabrières.

Its 1,100 hectares and 45 Km of banks where you are spoilt for choice in all outdoor sports. There is also a modern and timeless tower that houses the National Centre of Arts.
